Brand New Theme Called Nature Works!

Saturday, March 29th, 2008

This is a beauty, I think you’ll agree. It’s a warm theme, with off-white background and greens, blues and brown color scheme.

It validates for CSS and HTML (of course!) and uses only small images, so that it’s size is not overwhelming. In fact, even with the sample image in on the main page, the entire website, including 5 pages, is only 20kb. Now that’s small!

But don’t underestimate it. This website template is classy and professional looking. Use it for your business or personal site, and know that you can be proud of your homepage.

This is a CSS/HTML theme, and I will have a wordpress version of it sometime soon.

Enjoy this theme. Of course members already own it. Get a membership here. Or, I will have it available for individual sale soon. Interested in buying this individually? Make a comment on this blog post and I will know I need to hurry!

New Wordpress Theme Using No Images, All CSS

Monday, March 24th, 2008

Sometimes it’s nice to go light. In this case, it means no images for anything. The only image you see is the one in the post, and when you use this theme, you don’t have to have any images at all.

Of course there’s nothing against images. I like to do graphics-heavy sites as much as clean CSS ones. But this shows that you can have a nice theme that will load fast in any browser.

The corners are rounded using CSS. You can round the other element if you want to, but the only rounded element I used is the main body of the site. Credit is due here, I happily used it rather than do it from scratch!

The main menu is a mousover menu that changes to a light blue from brown. The current page also stays highlighted on the menu. I put several sample links there for you also.

I also spent some time and made sure all my themes on the demo server are CSS and XHTML valid, and I put the tags in it.

Why spend a little money on a site like this? Because you don’t have to do anything, just load it on your website, ask any questions in the forum that you need help with, and you are on your way. No long time spent getting it looking right.

You can download it if you are a member, sign up is here.

Business Theme For Wordpress

Saturday, March 15th, 2008

This week’s theme is called Simple Business and it is a wordpress theme, my specialty. The cool thing about this theme is the light blue color scheme and it’s widget-ready design. You can use it for your business blog or website, and modify it however you want, if you are a member.

Wordpress can be used in a lot of ways, which is why I choose to make it my #1 subject for templates. You can create membership sites with it (like this one!) and it’s blog functionality makes it a perfect choice for your blog. Using pages as well as posts means you can create an infinite variety of website structures.

Stay tuned, next week I have a really cool theme in the works, it’s a green/nature design. I think you will find it useful!

Awesome new theme …

Monday, March 10th, 2008

Did you know that template club members get access to a new theme every week? Well it’s true!

This week is a brand new theme based on another site I did a while ago. The theme is called Blue Flash and it’s a wordpress theme. I will be doing a CSS/HTML version of the same theme next week, and a Joomla version the week after. So if you want to do a site with all three on the server, feel free!

See a demo of this theme here.

More Free Templates

Saturday, February 23rd, 2008

To start things off right, I’m going to be loading several free templates for you. A couple are wordpress, and one is HTML/CSS.

And every week, for members, you will get another template to use on your website. One of the monthly themes will be Joomla. Two will be wordpress, and one will be HTML/CSS.

With all of that content you should be able to do a lot with your own websites and for your clients, if you are a professional member.

Most template/theme clubs give you one new theme every month, so here you will find a lot more than the usual. Also, the themes are crossed, that is for every Joomla theme, there is a corresponding Wordpress theme, and CSS/HTML theme. That way, you can easily have a website with an integrated design, across your various script installations.

That’s it for now, talk to you soon!
